Established in 1966, our Yamaha Music School has been serving students of the Hudson Valley for over 45 years. We originated on Main Street in Poughkeepsie as the Vincitore Yamaha Music School.
Today, we are the Paul Effman Music School and we thrive on satisfying our customers from inception through graduation. We now offer classes at our Lagrangeville store. We offer a variety of levels and age groups to accommodate students from ages 3 – 93! In addition to having varying musical degrees, our Yamaha Classroom Teachers undergo extensive Yamaha training and are constantly continuing their education with seminars specialized in their fields.
Yamaha’s research in musical child development is unsurpassed. They design curriculum and materials that help foster your child’s current development and work within their natural abilities.
